The Study Living Conditions associated with female fertility in Iran (based on secondary analysis of 2011 census)

As a major population flow, fertility has a decisive role in economic and social development of countries at micro and macro levels. Social sciences experts, especially demographers, believe fertility is influenced by a set of social, economic, political, cultural and biological factors. :Regarding that in recent years the trends of fertility has been decreased in Iran, then, the purpose of this study has been the investigation of fertility and doing second analysis of data derived from the 2011 census in Iran. Data used in this study is the secondary analysis of 2011 census. Secondary analysis is the practice of analyzing data that have already been gathered by someone else, often for a distinctly different purpose. According to the model and the results of the assumptions, it can be said that fertility in Iran has a significant relationship with place of residence (city/village), occupational status, immigration status, women's education, maternal age, type and ownership of residence. We can use this model as a basis for research and even for qualifying the census in future. It can also help micro and macro planner at national level in order to adjust female fertility. As fertility rate is lower than replacement rate in Iran, the results show that given the current population growth policies, which age groups of women should be targeted.
