The Records of the Persian Language in the Ancient and Long-lasting Commentary Kashf al-Asrār wa ‘Uddat al-Abrār

With regard to the ancient Persian translations of the Qur’ān, the author believes in both the content aspect which deals with the explication of the qur’ānic truths, and the linguistic aspect which emphasizes the role of such translations in the consolidation and expansion of the Persian language. Then, the focus turns to Kashf al-Asrār wa ‘Uddat al-Abrār commentary authored by Abulfaḍl Rashīd al-Dīn Meybudī, a brief introduction to it, the explanation of its author›s (normal and rhymed) prose styles, and a report on the endeavors done to publicize Meybudī.
