Abstract:
Studying the relationship between mass media and social alienation (Case study of Tabriz University students) Abstract Today, alienation is regarded as one of the main concerns of sociologists. Alienation is defined from the values human and moral virtues and ignoring their genuine and lost guidance way. The purpose of this study was to exanimating the relationship between mass media and social alienation. So done by survey using the conducted questionnaire technique was performed. The population of this study, 380 students from the University of Tabriz, in 92-1391 and were selected through random sampling. Statistical analysis of experimental data in this study, ANOVA, t-test and Pearson's correlation coefficient was used. The use of television, satellite, Internet, books and social alienation significant difference obtained Students are, however, the average level of the radio and journals, there was no significant difference in students and social alienation.
