Effectiveness of Schema Therapy based on Emotional on Quality of Life of Couple

This study sought to examine effectiveness of Schema Therapy based on emotional on quality of life of Couple. The design of the study was experimental research with pre-test and post-test with control group. The experimental group (12 couples) and the control group (12 couples) were selected by accessibility method. Sixty six clients were selected at random from among the data population, using the tools WHOQOL- BREF (Nghat & et al, 2006). Analyzing the data, primary and conducting data analysis with multi analysis of covariance (MANCOVA), the indexes of statistic power were calculated. The results of Hotelling’s Trace (F=7.97, P<0.01) showed that the experimental group had significant difference with the control group in quality of life. The experimental group improved in physical health, psychological health, social relationship and health rather than the control group. Also, there was no difference between the groups in environmental health. Therefore, all hypotheses concerning the effectiveness of family therapy which is based on schema therapy based on Emotion on quality of life clients were confirmed. The findings of the study, furthermore, showed that both schema therapy have almost a similar effect on effectiveness of schemas and their components.
