Status of civil society and non-governmental actors in public policy in Iran (2005-2013)

Abstract:
Civil society and nongovernmental actors in the new age have played a significant role in political scene and they are effective factors in management and administration of society, as well as effective tool for influencing the behavior and performance of the state, especially in rationalizing of state power. The explanation of the status of civil society and non-governmental actors in the public policy of the ninth and tenth government has been considered as a research goal. The main argument of this article is that in the ninth and tenth governments, civil society and non-governmental actors have been marginalized in public policy and have limited role and participation. In this research, it has been tried to analyze the position of the mentioned institutions in the public policy making of the ninth and tenth governments in the framework of the institutional model, and in two areas of domestic and foreign policy, using a descriptive-analytical method and collecting information in a library.
