Representation theory and Semantic Images of Iran & Islam in discourse of U.S Media

Abstract Approach of "constructed representation" as a one approach of representative theory has a key role in presentation of U.S media sphere. According to this approach, hence media set “a system of Identifiers”, media representation affect general interpretation of “Others” (hostiles) and then promulgate some conception of them according of their own images.U.S has linked , for more than three decades,formation of new wave of Islam to Iran which experienced Islamic revolution and foundation of Islamic Republic. Since, Iranfobia and Islamfobia has interpretated indistinguishably deep related with each other. This article explain Islam/Iran phobia as one of the most important means of U.S foreign policy through “partial representation”to identify political Islam and Islamic Republic of Iran.
