The goal of the paper is to study the effectiveness of improving couple relationships based on Gottman's improvement scale in couples conflicts. This paper adopted a quasi-experimental design conducting a pretest-posttest with a control group in which 30 subjects of 200 couples (husband and wife) were selected by a systematic sampling (screening). The couples were assigned into two groups, each comprising 15 couples. Enrich's 47- question marital satisfaction scale was used to collect data.The covariance analysis test was used in the analysis. The findings indicated that the mean of conflict resolution, the reciprocal awareness of the meaning of life, compatibility and management of conflict among couples significantly increased in the experimental group. As a result, the improvement by Gottman's method in solving couples' conflict, understanding common sense of life, couples compatibility and management of conflict is effective among them. The squared amount of Eta also shows that compatibility training of couple's ends up with 84% compatibility, 76% perceived common sense of life, 68% conflict resolution, and 64% of conflict management.
