Abstract:
One of the most important and most difficult philosophical issues is explanation of ‘God’s detailed knowledge of the creatures in essence’. In his books, Mulla Sadra has presented two theories in this regard: one is his famous theory of ‘synoptic knowledge while discovering in detail’ and the other is his theory based on unity of intelligent and intelligible, which is considered his final theory. In the present article, the author explains, based on Mulla Sadra’s foundations, his initial and famous theory, and then investigates and reviews that theory from Ayatollah Golam Reza Fayyazi’s viewpoint. Mulla Sadra uses the rule of ‘non-composite reality’, and presents the theory of ‘synoptic knowledge while discovering in detail’ on the basis of novel foundations of transcendental philosophy (especially, the principality of existence).
