The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of social violence behaviors on organizational forgetting and intent to leave the service The statistical population of the present study is Tehran's education staff. Using a simple random sampling and Cochran formula for a limited population, 274 of them were selected and
examined. This descriptive survey is an applied survey. Data were collected using Salavat & Associates and Aghandaz and Erimlaz standard questionnaires. To test the hypothesis of the research,Structural Equation Modeling was used with Amos16 software.The results showed that the first hypothesis was based on the effect of social violence behaviors on organizational forgetting, with a coefficient of 0.857 and a significant level of 0.30.The second hypothesis is based on the effect of social violence behaviors on the intention to leave, with a path coefficient of 0.631 and a significant level of 0.30.The third hypothesis was based on the effect of institutional forgetting on the intention to leave, with a path coefficient of 377 and a signi ficant level of 0.001. According to the results of the assumptions, it is suggested to managers to try to update their work and structural processes in their organization and to remove the old and inefficient trends from their work system in order to strengthen their purposefulness.
