A Semiotic Approach in Analyzing the Interactive Aspect of Golestan-e-Sa′di’s Narrative Discourse

Abstract:
This article tries to study the interactive aspect of Golestan’s narrative discourse regarding “The young Boxer” anecdotederived from the third chapter. This research considers a semiotic approach, which has been developed recently in Paris Linguistics School, so that it will reveal how the semiotic process have the meaning formed and produced in the underlying layers of the Golestn’s narrative corpus and discourse. This work takes discourse as the product of an interaction between utterer and co-utterer in the process of generating meaning. Then, according to analyzed sample text the research concludes that sa'di in his Golestan follows the interactive narrative features and the persuasive type is the more outstanding one reflecting the interior tend of Golestan.
