studying of some cultural،social factors on family power construction inkhorramabad city

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of some social and cultural factors on building power in the family. The data of this research were collected by survey method and questionnaire distributed among 384 married women in Khorramabad city by cluster sampling. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The software used was spss and the data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and t-test. The test of the relationship between independent and dependent variables showed that the dependent variable of power structure in the family with independent variables of gender attitude, kinship network authoritarianism, age difference of couples, number of children and duration of marriage has a significant relationship. On the other hand, there is a difference in the mean power between the job status of women and their family type. That is, the power of working women has increased, and women's participation in decision-making is rising in the nuclear family.
