The effect of the electronic learning environment compared to traditional learning environment for learners
This study investigated the comparison of the rate of learning in an electroniclearning environment and in a traditional learning environment in English languagecourse. The researchmethod in current study was quasi-experimental with control group. The firstmeasurement was made by a pre-test and the second measurement was made by aposttest. Thirty-two participants were randomly selected as the sample size. Thesample size was divided into an experimental group and a control group. The twogroups were selected similarly and the measurement of the dependent variable wastaken at the same time and under similar conditions. The experimental groupreceived a 6-week instruction using an electronic learning programme and thecontrol group received a traditional learning programme. The covariance statistical analysis was conducted.Findings indicated that there was a significant difference between the experimentalgroup and the control group in that learning in an electronic environment had a dramatic effect on learning.E-learning environmentsasnew tools, the ability togreatlychangethequalityof teaching andlearningandteaching and learningineducation systemstopromotefair use.
