A Consideration of the Foundational Model of Religious Science

Dr. Khosrow Bagheri has devised his model of religious science under the “Foundational Model.” My main concern here is to evaluate this model. In this paper, I introduce this view within five sections, and then criticize it on 10 points. In my view, the Foundational Model faces major problems in its foundation and its construction. Some of these problem are as follows: a black-and-white view of scientology, determination of three areas in religion, the relationship between religious knowledge and other kinds of knowledge, consequences of uncovering the error of the hypothesis about religious texts, the introduction of “religious metaphysics” or “metaphysics emerging from religion,” and the claim that religion affects both realms of discovery and evaluation. Given my criticisms, it turns out that the model cannot take a new step towards arriving at a religious science.
