Define and Design a Model of Strategic Human Resource Management (HRM) of Iranian POWs in Iraqi Camps
In this research, one of the issues of management in the Iranian POWs in Iraqi camps is discussed. Studies show that few studies have been conducted with a scientific approach, especially in the field of management regarding the captivity of the Iranian POWs in Iraqi camps. The purpose of this study was to identify and explain the elements and components of the Human Resources Management Strategic Management Model (SHRM) of the Iranian prisoners of war in Iraqi camps. This research is a Historical descriptive research. The data was collected using a method of examining the documents and books published about the prisoners of war (POW), as well as some semi-structured interviews with 40 Azadegan (prisoners) to reach main results. The interviewees were selected through a decision making process of those strategic leaders, with cultural activists at the time of captivity and camp administrators. The Data was analyzed using content analysis method and the research model was so designed. The main elements of the model include the causes and factors affecting the formation of strategic human resources management in the camp, the role of the Red Cross and strategic leaders, the formation of the initial core and model development, human resource management strategies, implementation of strategies and implications of implementation of human resources management strategies in the camp, and A feedback loop. After the initial design of the model, the participants in the study examined and verified.
