Take a Look at the Relations between Iran and Iraq after Oust of SaddamHasan NikobinDr. Mohsen JalilvandAbstract:Over recent decades, Iraq has been considered as a security threat to Iran. Iran is the most influential regional actor in Iraq. Given the collapse of the Saddam regime, the establishment of a democratic political system in Iraq and participation of all Iraqi groups in power structure, especially the participation of Shia groups in power structure, has created conditions that could end security threat from Iraq and even make Iraq as a political and economic partner for Iran. Geographic proximity would force Iranian and Iraqi politician to improve their bilateral relations which benefit two countries. Undoubtedly, putting obstacles in the way of relation between two countries would create many problems that is not in the interest of both sides and the region.Key Words: Iraq, Iran, Mutual Interest, Regional Stability, Security
