The Relationship between Mental Disorder and Problem Solving and Concerns among Family Difference Women and Normal Women in Nurses in Kermanshah Province
The purpose of this study was to compare mental disorder and problem-solving methods and concerns among female nurses with familial and normal family disorder in Kermanshah. This research is applied in terms of the method of implementation and the method of data collection is causal-comparative. The statistical population of this study includes all nursing women in Kermanshah. Sampling method was available through sampling. Six nurses with family history were selected among 60 nurses and 60 nurses with normal condition were selected. To measure the variables of this research, three Cassidy and Lang problem solving scales (1996), Pennsylvania Concern Scale (PSWQ) and MMPI (for measuring psychological weakness) were used. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics and using spss software. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the problem solving skills in nurses with family differences and normal nurses (P <0.001). Among the worries in nurses with family differences and normal nurses (P <0.001) and psychological weaknesses in nurses with Family difference and normal nurses (P <0.001) were found to be statistically significant, meaning that nurses with family differences had more mental disorder and less problem solving methods and more concern than normal nurses.
