Analyzing and critiquing Shahrour's view of the miracle and challenge of Qur'an
There are many theories about the quality of the miracle of the Qur'an and related issues since its revelation. Muhammad Shahrour, with a modern definition of miracle and, of course, a reversion to the achievements of his predecessors, has limited it to a portion of the verses of the Qur'an based on theory of Non-synonymy. Shahrour who concentrated his studies in the modern world, by dividing Moshif into Qur'an and books, concluded that the same book can be brought, so God warned the people, even the Prophet, against doing so. He distinguishes between the mission and prophecy, as well as the difference between the Qur'an and the book, so believes that the verses related to the mission and the prophecies concerning the miracle are not the same and miraculous feature should not be attributed to all the verses revealed to the Prophet. Unlike its predecessors, he considers miracle funds in certain dimensions that require careful analysis. He has also emphasized about challenged cases more on rhetorical and literary construction than on content. This article attempts to critic his view, in a descriptive-analytical approach, while interpreting his thought in four categories, analyzing the contradictions and drawbacks to his perspective.
