The relationship between conflict and hard-of-control conflict management strategies with the emotional coldness of couples

The purpose of the present study was to determine the relationship between conflict and hard-of-control conflict management strategies with the emotional coldness of couples in Sar-e-Pul Zahab city. The method of this research is descriptive correlational. The statistical sample of this study is a sample of 200 couples (100 couples) who are required to use the sampling method from the counseling centers of Sar-e-Pol-e Zahab city who were referred to the centers in 1398, based on their current status. Were selected. The instruments used in this research are Ahwaz hardiness questionnaire (1377), Mori and Strauss conflict resolution strategies (1990) and Razeghi emotional coldness (2008). The results of this study showed that there is a significant negative correlation between the reasoning strategy for controlling conflict with the emotional coldness of couples. There is a significant positive correlation between the verbal aggression strategy for controlling the conflict with the emotional coldness of couples. There is a significant negative correlation between physical aggression strategy to control conflict with emotional coldness of couples. There is a negative and significant relationship between hardiness and emotional coldness of couples. The rigidity variable with beta coefficient of 0.34 and the argument variable strategy for solving the conflict with beta coefficient of 0.31 can negatively and significantly affect the verbal aggression strategy for conflict resolution with a 0.24 beta coefficient and the physical aggression strategy variable for solving Conflict with beta coefficient of 0.22 can positively and significantly predict the emotional coldness of couples.

In the endeavor, rapid economic and social changes, the basis of marital relations and the family have been somewhat weakened. The weakening of marital relationships weakens marriages, relationships and abnormalities within the family, and this leads to the collapse of family relationships and, eventually, small and large deviations within the families.
