Prediction of quality of life based on mind toughness and organizational commitment of firefighters in Tehran
This paper aims at predicting the quality of life, based on mental toughness and organizational commitment. The participants of this study are firefighters working in Tehran in 1397 from different fire stations, among which 150 selected by multistage cluster sampling method. Means of questionnaires conduct the research. The questionnaires used in this study was Quality of life (SF-36), Allen & Mayer’s organizational commitment (OCQ) and mental toughness (MTQ 48). We use the Pearson correlation tests and multivariable regression to analyses the data. The result shows that there is a direct signification correlation between mental toughness and quality of life. Moreover, our analysis reveals that the quality of life can predict by mental toughness and independent variables can define organizational commitment as %17 of the variance in quality of life variable.
