Identifying the Factors Affecting Talent in Command and Management in Amin University Students

The article is written for the purpose of identifying leadership and management talents in students of Amin University of Police. The research is applied, and is descriptive-survey method. The statistical population of the study consisted of 300 students from Amin University of Police. The sampling rate was 168, using available sampling method and Morgan table. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was obtained through content validity and its reliability was 0.88 using Cronbach’s alpha. According to the findings of the research, the pattern of management and management talents in NAJA has four dimensions of general competencies, special competencies, psychological characteristics, and managerial abilities. Assuming that each of the NAJA employees has the general and specialized competencies that serve in the law enforcement agencies, the focus of the indicators has been placed on two dimensions of psychological characteristics and leadership and management abilities. Psychological features include self- esteem, emotional intelligence, motivation, sense of responsibility, and empowerment and management capabilities including ability to influence, help others grow, responsibility, ability to persuade others and decision-making ability. The results of the research show that about 3% (with a mean score of 4 to 5) of the University of Police University students with excellent leadership and management talents and 43% (with a mean of 4-4.49) have also had superior talent in the field of command and management.
