Qualitative Analysis of Coverage Styles among Female Students of the Ayatollah Broujerdi University (RA)
The aim of this study is Qualitative analysis of coverage styles among female students of the Ayatollah Broujerdi University.
The method adopted in this study is a qualitative method based on an interpretative paradigm that examined this issue. In fact, an interpretive approach seeking to discover why human actions are performed through the spreading of knowledge based on implicit and symbolic meanings are motivations and rules that give direction and meaning to actions. The sample consisted of 30 female college students who were selected by purposeful sampling. 30 semi-structured interviews were conducted for this research. The data were analyzed using analysis technique. Thematic analysis was carried out. A semi-structured interview was used to compile the main information needed, the process of data analysis was such that at the first stage the open encoding was done, then axial coding was done and at the final stage, selective coding was performed.
The findings of this study indicate that there are different styles of coverage (veiling) among female students, including personal coverage, modern coverage, coverage, obligatory coverage, coverage status and coverage.
The globalization of culture, technology and modern technologies and ... has led to the introduction of new values in Iranian society, which over time has changed the attitude towards the cover (veiling), and there is a fundamental challenge in the motives and different ways of hijab and veiling.
