Psychological security is one of the basic needs of human beings and has important effects on their lives. The pilgrimage is one of the religious practices in which security is considered. Allah Almighty declares the Abrahamic shrine a safe zone and asks Muslims to respects it. The relationship between the Hajj and the psychological security of the pilgrims can be examined in several ways: the security of the Shrine and psychological security, the rites of the Hajj and psychological security, the places for performing the rituals of the Hajj and psychological security, and the Hajj and psychological security. God’s command about the security of the shrine has a significant impact on the pilgrims’ sense of security and their comfort in performing the Hajj rituals. Attaching the servants to God and showing the world’s inferiority and its affairs, the rituals of the Hajj provide pilgrims with psychological security. The presence in the pilgrimage places such as Masjid al-Haram and al-Masa’ also make the pilgrims feel safe and secure psychologically. The Hajj season, during the forbidden months, makes the pilgrims’ of God’s House feel safe and secure.
