Solutions for empowering cooperative businesses (Case Study: Poultry cooperatives in Hamedan province)

This study aimes to find solutions for empowering Poultry cooperativesin in Hamedan province. Data are collected from 54 Members of the Board of Poultry cooperatives in Hamedan province. Data collection tool is a questionnaire that its validity is confirmed by panel of experts and the reliability is tested by cronbach's alpha coefficient (α=0.85). According to factor analysis results, main solutions for empowering Poultry cooperatives are classified in four factors such as: “Reforming supportive systems”, “Empowering managers”, “Developing Education and research” and “Modifying production and consumption structure”. These four factors totally could explain 56% of the variances of the strategies for empowering Poultry cooperatives. Also confirmatory factor analysis with LISREL showe the good fitness of model (RMSEA=0.011، AGFI=0.90 GFI=0.86). According to research finding, some solutions are recommended for modifying supportive system, empowering cooperation management, redesigning production and marketing system and improving productivity in Poultry cooperatives.
