Implementation of E-Supervision at State Supervisory Organizations and Its Impact on Reducing Corruption

Abstract:
The phenomenon of corruption exists in various forms in most societies, and this phenomenon is considered as anti-growth, since it makes competitiveness difficult and plays havoc with optimum allocation of resources at any organization. This study aims at exploring the subject of e-supervision and its conditions at supervisory organizations and how this means accessible to the organizations affects the goal of combating corruption. Research sample comprises 57 subjects selected randomly from among skillful managers and experts serving at the Inspection Organization. Results reveal that there is a positive, homogeneous relation between the three variables, suggesting that the acceleration and increased accuracy stemming from e-supervision have a positive impact on each other and reducing corruption as well. Almost 77.5% held that the process of supervision lacks enough speed and accuracy at present, emphasizing the need for reforms in this process and enhancing its accuracy and speed. 75% responded positively to such a need for e-supervision.
