Determine the desirable characteristics of organizational culture in the NAJA Border Command and evaluate the status quo

Organizational culture is one of the most important factors in the success or failure of organizations, especially in organizations where they are relatively long. This article seeks to determine the characteristics of a desirable organizational culture for the Naja Frontier Command and evaluate its current status.

The research is applied in terms of purpose and it is descriptive-survey in terms of implementation. The statistical population of the study consisted of top commanders and commanders in the headquarters of this command (17th and above) and the sample size was 42 persons, according to Krejcie and Morgan table. Data were collected using a valid and reliable questionnaire (Cronbach''s alpha 0.84) and were analyzed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and one-sample and two-sample t-tests in SPSS software.

The research showed that the expected organizational culture of top managers is borderline, team oriented, innovation and risk motivated, consequentialist, transformational and forward looking, with accurate staff, analytical and competitive atmosphere, and managers sensitive to the impact of decision-making on employees. While in all these dimensions, although the status quo is better than the average level, there is a significant gap between the status quo and the desired status, with the exception of evolutionism. Greater distance is also devoted to the cultural dimension of teamwork, which necessitates a deliberate effort to improve the dimensions of organizational culture.
