Identify Relationship Between Religious Orientation and Marital Satisfaction in Married Women's Secretaries of Shirvan City

Religion and faith are important aspects of human experience. Therefore, it is important to address the role of religious beliefs in marital life. The purpose of this study was to compare the relationship between religious orientation and marital satisfaction among married female teachers. This research is a descriptive-correlational study. The statistical population of this study is all second-grade female secondary school teachers working in the school year 1995-94. The sample size in this study is 60. Method Sampling was simple random sampling. In this research, data were collected from two Allport religious orientation questionnaires (1950) and Enrique's marital satisfaction questionnaire (1989). Data were analyzed using independent correlation and independent t-test. And analyzed. The results showed that there is a relationship between religious orientation and marital satisfaction. The results show that there is a negative relationship between marital satisfaction and religious orientation. Considering that increasing the score in the religious orientation questionnaire means decreasing the inner orientation and increasing the external orientation towards religion, it can be concluded that As individuals have more intrinsic religious orientation, their marital satisfaction is higher, and therefore, it can be claimed that religion as an effective factor in marital satisfaction can increase marital satisfaction. There is also no significant difference between married female teachers with associate degrees, undergraduate and postgraduate students in marital satisfaction and religious orientation. Therefore, the zero assumption that there is no difference in group approval and research hypothesis is rejected.
