Abstract:
The mythological location is one of the most influential features of myth on the epic. Based on Middle Persian texts, Xoniras known as the holy center. As a special creation of Urmazd. This is the place to start creation. This sacred center of Zoroastrian religion based on the transition of mythological elements to the epic, has entered to the text of Shahnameh and it has introduced some of its special features such as: holiness, sustainability, envy and Zoroastrian care, into the text of the epic. In order to demonstrate scientific proof that Xoniras is the concept of Iran in Shahnameh, It was necessary to introduce a set of links of these two mythological and epic places. Therefore, some links such as: Heroes and heroic ethics, enemies of Iran, magic, rationalism of Iranians, and Farah and Farahmandi have been investigated and recognized. The approach of the present article to the discussion of mythology has been based on the phenomenology school of Mircea Eliade, and based on the theoretical principles of this school, the spatial relationship between myth and epic has been explained.
