The Effectiveness of Group Reality Therapy on Emotion Regulation and Mental Health of Cardiac Patients
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group reality therapy on emotional regulation and mental health of cardiac patients. The present research is a semi-experimental research (semi-experimental). Since the implementation of each experiment requires the selection of a suitable design, in this research, a variety of semi-experimental designs, a pre-test post-test design with a control group were used for this purpose. The statistical population of the present study was cardiac patients in Fasa, Iran. In this study, 40 patients with lower than average score in the emotional and emotional adjustment questionnaire were selected through random sampling. In the experimental and control groups, the members of the experimental group received 8 sessions of 1.5 hours of reality therapy in the same way, While the control group did not receive any intervention. After the sessions were completed, a post-test run and one month later follow-up were carried out and the data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods. The result showed that changes in mean scores The emotional regulation and mental health that participated in group reality therapy have a statistically significant difference, so the reality of group therapy can increase the general health of cardiac patients, thereby improving their quality of life and their efficacy, and also the therapeutic reality of the group has positive effects It's about adjusting and controlling the positive and negative emotions of heart patients It will have a direct impact on life and disease control.
