Following a library method and through a thorough study of various books and papers in the field of the history and culture of Bakhtiari people, the present paper aims to identify and explore some of the Iranian traditional disciplinary acts of Bakhtiari tribe, such as Xun bas )renouncing gore(, blood and wood, oath, Xun and Kalat )blood money(, and atonement. Since the origin of such punishments is the structure and conventions of the converged Bakhtiari society, and since the main foundations and forms of this united society are as strong as they were before, it seems that the revival and modification of each of such criminal punishments based on societal needs could be a useful step towards attaining the goals of restorative justice.
