Effects of national quality model enabler criteria on organizations performance (Case study: participant firms in INQA)

Total product quality sets the ground for customer satisfaction and is a basic factor in achieving satisfaction of the other interested parties of the organization in order for the organization to be competitive and achieve sustainable success; it is one, among many of the country’s underlying issues. Therefore one needs to get furnished with current and future competitiveness mechanisms and to learn and implement modern management principles in the highly competitive world. Iran national quality award is in fact a tool for measuring these criteria and creating a healthy and scientific competition among organizations, including state and private, service and production enterprises. The goal of this survey is to investigate effects of enabler criteria on the resultant criteria of Iran Nation Quality Award. To this purpose, scores obtained by 45 participating organizations in “Iran National Quality Award )1387-1393( were assessed. Hence, Path analysis was utilized. The results demonstrate a meaningful relationship among factors and also between factors and key results. The results of Path analysis, also confirm the structural model of research. Path analysis declares that considering the effects of factors on each other, the degree of effects of the criteria follows respectively: Personnel, Leadership, Resources, Processes, Customer results, Environment and finally the key results in performance
