Abstract:
Ground and purpose

the present research aims to study and specifying the border market effect on economic growth and development in Southern Khorasan Province.

Methodology

this applied research is a surveying- descriptive research. The statistical society includes totally 50 merchants and traders having active trade cards, experts of Commerce Office, and inspectors of Customs Office of Southern Khorasan, Because of this society low volume, the whole of this 50 people were selected as the sample. Time interval of this research ended to spring 2015. The gathered data were studied by the use of SPSS software, and the hypotheses were analyzed by statistical t-student test and one-way variance analysis.
Findings and

results

this research results show that border markets have had significant effects on economic development in Southern Khorasan through decreasing the contraband phenomenon, developing the export, and stabilizing the border inhabitants' native crowd and their occupation. And finally some proposals were offered regarding to the hypotheses results.
