Abstract:
Introduction & Objective

Spiritual health is one of the most important indicators of teachers. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between spiritual health with thinking styles and creativity of Khoy sports teachers.

Materials & Methods

The research method was descriptive-correlational and the statistical population of the study was all male and female sport teachers in Khoy city in the academic year 2018-2019. Due to the small number of statistical population, equal sample with statistical population was selected. The research instruments included demographic questionnaires, Paulottsin & Ellison (1982) questionnaire on three dimensions of cognitive, affect and action, Torrance creativity standard questionnaire (1992) and Sternberg & Wagner (1991) standard thinking questionnaire. The content validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by experts and the internal validity of spiritual health questionnaire was 0.82, creativity 76% and thinking style 88% and Pearson correlation and regression were used to analyze the data.

Results

Pearson correlation coefficients showed that between spiritual health and creativity
(p = 0.01 and r = 0.585) and spiritual health with thinking style (p = 0.01 and p = 0.548) has a positive and significant relationship. Also, four components of creativity (fluidity, development, ingenuity, and flexibility) can explain teachers 'spiritual health, whereas only two components of thinking style: executive style and Free-thinking style can explain teachers' spiritual health.

Conclusion

Since the primary function of education is to expand the boundaries of knowledge and to produce science and to form the basis of science for creativity, the thinking style of these institutions is more needed than other organizations. Various researches indicate that one of the factors contributing to creativity and thinking is the promotion of spiritual well-being
