Explaining the effects of converting villages to towns on regional system stability (Case Study of Rey County and Villages Around))

The explosion of urban population explosion causes many economic, social and environmental problems. As a result of these problems, urban and regional analysts have turned their attention to the development of small and medium-sized cities as a solution to the imbalance caused by the development of large cities.Planners believe that the strategy of rural development of small towns and cities is one of the strategies that is able to balance the system of settlement and economic activities and has an important role in motivating rural areas, creating employment and diversifying activities. The purpose of this paper is to explain the effects of the conversion of villages into cities on the sustainability system of Rey County and surrounding villages.The main question of this paper is: what impact has the conversion of villages to the city had on the regional stability system of Rey County and the surrounding villages? The present study is a descriptive-analytical study using library resources and field data (observation, interview, and questionnaire). The data were analyzed using SWOT analytical model. The results show that the conversion of villages into cities has affected the geographical structure, social structure, economic structure and physical structure of regional sustainability system in Ray County and surrounding villages.
