Assessment and Vulnerability Analysis of urban Sensitive points based on the Principles of Passive Defense (Case study: Dayyer's Seaport)
based on the strategic position of the Iran in the Middle East and the threats that exist, address to the vulnerability of the country is necessary, especially the cities, which are the places where massive accumulation of various capital is there.Today's wars have more emphasis on damaging infrastructure and important urban points to avoidin high cost of erosion wars.On the other hand, Seaports have a high vulnerability to wars and natural hazards due to the presence of several urban sensitive points and also because of being located in the coastal strip and the absence of natural obstacles such as mountains and forest in their vicinity, which provide enough protection. Method of this study is descriptive-analytical, and main purpose is evaluating and analyzing the vulnerabilities of the urban sensitive points of Dayyer seaport based on the principles of passive defense. At first, the list of vulnerable sensitive points and also vulnerability criteria and sub-criteria were extracted based on the sources and experts’s opinions, then through the questionnaire and decision method AHP, the vulnerability level of the points was determined. After designing vulnerability maps in ArcGIS, with SWOT programming method approch of system was determind. Based on the results sensitive points have high and different vulnerability. An appropriate strategy to reduce vulnerability is the aggressive.
