Investigating the Relationship between Organizational Structure and Managers' Power Sources in Hormozgan Province Police Headquarters
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational structure and managers' power resources. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of descriptive research method is correlation. To collect the data, the standard organizational structure questionnaire of Robbins (1989) and the standard questionnaire of Sherikheim and Hinkin (1989) were used. The statistical population of this study included all employees of Hormozgan Police Command Headquarters. The sample was 194 based on Cochran formula. The inferential analysis of data was done by SPSS software and Pearson correlation coefficient and regression and Friedman test. The results show that there is a significant relationship between organizational structure and its components with managers' power resources. Also, based on Friedman's test, formalism is at a low of 2.58 in the first priority, As a result, it has the highest relationship with managers 'power resources, followed by complexity with 1.82 in the second priority, and concentration with a factor of 1.60 in the third and final rank, thus having the least relationship with managers' power resources.
