A Review on the Correction of Anīs al-Wahdat wa Jalīs al-Khalvat

Anīs al-Wahdat wa Jalīs al-Khalvat, written and compiled by Mahmood bin Mahmood bin Ali al-Hosseini known as Ela Golestāne, in 8th century is in the form of Muhāzirāt books. In 1390, Mr. Mojtaba Motahari defended his doctoral dissertation titled «Correcting, Studying, and an Introduction to Anīs al-Wahdat wa Jalīs al-Khalvat by Golestāne Esfahāni» at the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies of Tehran University. This treatise was published the following year by the publication of Library, Museum and Document Center of Iran Parliament. Unfortunately, Mr. Motahhari› s correction, despite his efforts, is fraught with various mistakes. This article is going to review some of these mistakes along with some excerpts from the book.
