Survey of Preparedness of Roudehen Islamic Azad University for the Establishment of Total Quality Management and Quality Management System (ISO)

This research purpose is to survey the preparedness of Roudehen Islamic Azad University for the establishment of total quality management and quality management system (ISO). Research method was descriptive (survey) in terms of data collection and practical In terms of purpose. The research population included all faculty members of Roudehen Islamic Azad University in the 91-90 school year was (450 people).The sample was chosen according to Morgan Table, and included 210 people and it was selected by random sampling method. Data were gathered through four researcher-made questionnaires included a total quality management questionnaire based on five scales and alpha coefficient of 0/83, a documenting of activities nine dimensions questionnaire based on five scales and alpha coefficient of 0/80, a quality management principles eight dimensions questionnaire based on six scales and alpha coefficient of 0/77 and a quality objectives of university five dimensions questionnaire based on five Likert scales and alpha coefficient of 0/81. Data gathered has been analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics methods like one-sample t-test, Como, Bartlett, factor analysis and Friedman which were estimated by applying SPSS and Excel. The results showed that 1- Deming's 14 dimensions quality management status at Roudehen Islamic Azad University is high. 2- The preparedness of the Roudehen Islamic Azad University to document activities based on quality management system (ISO) is the high. 3- There is a ambiguous cognition of eight principles of quality management in Roudehen Islamic Azad University. 4- Roudehen Islamic Azad University 's quality objectives include learning objectives, skills, technology, culture and research.
