The Study of Sari High School Principals and Teachers' Attitude to theSocial Compatibility of the Athletic and Non-athletic Students

Abstract:

The main purpose of the present study is to determine the amount of incompatibility of the students and to distinguish the compatible students from incompatible ones in the field of being athletic and non-athletic and also to determine that to what extent state of being athletic and non-athletic affects the rate of social compatibility of the students. To do this 200 students including 100 girls and (50 athletic and 50 non – athletic) and 100 boys (50 athletic and 50 non-athletic) were separated through coed sampling (multi-step cluster and random). Using the t-test, statistical analysis was accomplished. The measurement tools in this study were social compatibility questionnaire and considering the objectives and questions the following results were achieved:1- The compatibility ratio of athletic students in higher than non-athletic cones. 2- There is a meaningful difference between athletic boys and girls considering social compatibility ratio.
