Strategies to counter the effects of climate change and greenhouse gases onIran's environment from the perspective of international law and Iranianlaw

Given the key role and importance of the environment in improving the quality ofhuman life, addressing the environmental concerns that have caused internationalconcern has become essential. Undoubtedly, one of the categories that has degradedthe quality of the environment is the climate change of greenhouse gases. Therefore, inthis paper, the causes and consequences of climate change and greenhouse gases andinternational measures to deal with them are discussed.At the international level, themost important of these activities are the adoption of two international instruments, theGeneral Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol, which provideappropriate solutions for reducing greenhouse gases and adaptation.Due to theimportance of reducing climate change and greenhouse gases in Iran, it has joinedthese two international legal documents and in line with its obligations to establish theoffice of the National Plan for Climate Change and has so far prepared and submittedtwo reports. Melli has taken action in this regard.Because climate change poses amajor threat to environmental health and human life, the commitment of theinternational community to address this phenomenon is a kind of ergonomiccommitment that doubles the need to address this issue.
