Identifying Areas Susceptible to Establish Border Posts: A case study of Kalat Country
Border areas are very sensitive and the locating of border posts in these areas is very important. Due to the importance of the issue in this research, susceptible areas for the construction of border posts in the border city of Kalat have been evaluated. In this study, seven criteria (distance from the border, distance from rural areas, distance from the main road, distance from the river, altitude, and slope direction) and two models of fuzzy zone and network analysis (ANP) have been used; After preparing the information layers, these layers were standardized using fuzzy logic and then the obtained weight was applied on them through the ANP model, and finally the information layers were combined using fuzzy gamma. The final results are classified into five classes, of which very few include areas that are far from the border and also have mainly western directions, away from the main road and far from rural areas; Also, the very high class mainly includes areas close to the main road, close to the border lines, close to the river and close to the rural areas. According to the mentioned cases and the final map, the areas around the city of Kalat Naderi and towards the border areas have a great potential for the construction of border posts.
