investigating the relationship of psychological capital and motivational beliefs with Educational Performance of High School Teachers in Boukan County
This study examined the relationship between psychological capital and motivational beliefs and educational performance of high school teachers in Boukan. The research method is descriptive correlations. Among all high school teachers of high school in the city of Boukan during the academic year of 2012-2013, 112 individuals were selected using random cluster sampling method. The research tools were Luthans Psychological Capital Inventory (2007), Motivational Beliefs Questionnaire (MSLQ), and Educational Performance Questionnaire for teachers. For data analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, independent t-test and multivariate regression analysis were used. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the main hypotheses of research and there was a significant direct relationship between the components of psychological capital with motivational beliefs and educational performance of teachers, There is also a significant positive correlation between the components of motivational beliefs and educational performance of teachers. Based on the comparison of two independent groups of gender with the main variables of research, there was a significant difference with the variable of motivational beliefs. Also, among the components of the research, only the components of internal motivation and hopefulness are predictive of educational performance.
