Desire to meeting; a wishful conversation Typology of pilgrimage, a case study of Ziarat Al-Yasin

This note investigates the literary genres of Ziarat Al-Yassin with the descriptive –analytical method. The necessity of typological studying in Islamic texts is that this approach helps readers to understand the text and interpret its layers. A look to the researches in Islamic literature represents that the content studies of this heritage (Ziarat) has been paid more attention than the study of its form or shape and structure by the antecedents. After presenting the theoretical subjects relating to the literary genre and the definition of its components and the overview of Ziarat term and defining some clauses of Ziarat Al-Yassin, this note has studied the literary genres in Ziarat and their components (elements). According to the examination, Ziarat can be included within two genres of the emotional (lyric) and didactic literature. Ziarat in its structure has been shaped of intellectual, emotional and …... elements which have relationship in longitudinal and cross-sectional and with a straightforward language but enthusiastic it makes the reader fly in his epistemological and spiritual progress (path) toward God.
