Abstract:
The Lorestan Governors (Valies) are one of the local dynasties in Iran who take charge of Atabakan-e Small Lur territory, during the time of Safavid Shah Abbas and their governorate continued until the time of Pahlavi Reza Shah. Pish-i Kuh that was the most important part of Lorestan, separated from their territory at the time of Qajar Fath-Ali Shah and they were forever migrated to the Posht-i Kuh that was a distant and insignificant area at west of Lorestan. The cause of permanent migration of Lorestan Valies to Posht-i Kuh has been investigated in this research. This article is based on historical research method and using a descriptive – analytic method. The basis for work is the extraction of data from the main sources. The results of this research show that migration of Lorestan Valies to Posht-i Kuh occurred after entrust monarchy of the western regions of Iran to Mohammad Ali Mirza. Valies inevitably migrated to Posht-i Kuh to continue their rule and avoiding confrontation with Qajar princes and it can be said that leaving the Pish-i Kuh was reflection of the Iran's Qajarization policy.
