Evaluation of University Learning and Educational Environment Based on Students Viewpoint (Case Study: University of Mohaghegh Ardabili)

Abstract:

This study was conducted to evaluate the learning and teaching environment of the university based on students' viewpoint (case study of Mohaghegh Ardebili University). The research method was a descriptive cross-sectional study. The statistical population of the study consisted of all students of Mohaghegh Ardebili University that 375 of them were selected using stratified sampling method. The required information was collected through the Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure (DREEM) questionnaire. Data were analyzed using one-sample t-test, t-test and one-way analysis of variance by SPSS software. Based on the results, the learning environment in Mohaghegh Ardabili University has a good condition for students. According to the results, there is no significant difference based on gender and academic year between the viewpoints of students, but there is a significant difference between the learning environment and the educational environment in terms of educational level, field of study, faculty, age and marital status.
