The Relationship between Feelings of Happiness and Happiness on Academic Achievement of First Grade High School Students in Karaj
The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between happiness and academic achievement among male high school students in Karaj. The method of the present study is correlational. The statistical population of the study consists of all first grade high school students in Karaj, of which 340 people were selected by simple random sampling based on Morgan's proposed table. The selected samples answered the conditional self-efficacy tests of colleagues and the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire. Also, the grade point average of the first semester of the 99-98 academic year was considered as a measure of academic achievement. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation test. Findings showed a significant relationship to the constructive role of happiness in academic achievement and with increasing the level of happiness and vitality among students, we will see their academic progress and more effort.
