The statistical population of the study included all women with breast cancer in Shohada Tajrish Hospital, which according to the hospital management statistics were 85 people. For data collection, the initial shortform maladaptive schema questionnaire and the list of traumatic experiences questionnaire were used. For data analysis at the descriptive level, mean and standard deviation and at the inferential level, regression analysis was used simultaneously using SPSS24 software. The results of regression analysis showed that between the incompatible initial schemas and traumatic memory There is a significant relationship with breast cancer in women and they can explain more variance. Based on these findings, it can be said that women with breast cancer have more early maladaptive schemas and more traumatic memory. These findings also have important implications for the psychopathology and treatment of these patients
