The Relationship between Religious Attitudes and Emotional Intelligence with Mental Health Staff of the Ports and Maritime Organization
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between religious attitude and emotional intelligence with mental health Staff of the Ports and Maritime Organization. The research applied in terms of purpose and method was descriptive, correlational one. The statistical population of this study included 290 Staff of Amirabad Ports and Maritime Organization.165 individuals were selected using the Krejcy and Morgan tables as statistical samples. Data were gathered by using three questionnaires: emotional intelligence, religious attitude and mental health standard questionnaires. Their reliability was calculated to 0.88, 0.84 and 0.79 respectively by the use of Cronbach Alpha. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics including were used to analyze the data. The results indicated that there is a positive and significant correlation between emotional intelligence and its components and religious attitude and its components with mental health. Also, the contribution of each component of emotional intelligence and religious attitude in predicting mental health of Staff is different.
