Conceptualization of Media Justice from the Experts Perspective

“Media Justice” has different definitions for media managers, activists & researchers. Regarding the scarce literature review in this field and the neglect of different aspects of media justice, the present research is opting to survey and explore the essence of Media Justice. The data of the research has been collected via semi-structured interviews with 24 experts and communication managers of this field. The Theme analysis method has been applied to analyze the data. The findings of the research include 5 approaches in defining Media justice. These approaches are as follows: Media Justice from the perspective of consumers & employees, sender-message-channel-receiver, and social equilibrium. The outcome of the research declares that the concept of Media Justice is in relation to the position of media in different social institutions, different functions of media for the audience, and how media is in reach of audience through a hardware & software mechanism.
