The Relationship between Mental Health and Work-Life Balance in Primary School Teachers in District 20 of Tehran
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of life skills training on irrational communication beliefs of men with extramarital affairs experience. The statistical population of this study was all men with experience of extramarital affair referring to family counseling centers in District 9 of Tehran in 1399. Using purposive sampling method, 30 of these individuals were selected and randomly divided into experimental and control groups. 15 people in the experimental group, 15 people in the wedge) were assigned. Also used in this study are the list of irrational communication beliefs of Idelson and Epstein (1982) and the life skills training protocol. The experimental group underwent life skills program training in 8 sessions of 50 minutes. Data were analyzed using univariate and multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCONA) and Spss-24 software. The results showed that life skills training is effective in reducing irrational communication beliefs of men with extramarital affairs and the results indicate a reduction of irrational beliefs (destructive opposition, unchanging spouse, mind reading expectations, sexual perfectionism and gender differences).
