Analysis of Research perspective, knowledge map, and co-author patterns of COVID19 Studies

purpose of this study is to analyze the research perspective, the knowledge map, and the scientific collaboration networks of COVID19 Studies in the WOS since the announcement of the disease by China. This study is an applied descriptive, with a scientometric approach (co-word analysis and network analysis). The research community is the scientific COVID19 studies in the WOS in 2019 and 2020 years. Histcite and excel softwares are used for data analysis and VOSviewer is used for mapping. In domain of COVID19, 579 studies were retrieved from 2928 authors from 68 countries in 318 journals indexed in the WOS. China has had the most studies. Mahase E and Li XW have the most productions and citations. Chinese acad sci and capital med univ universities are pioneering in producing and receiving citations. The chemistry research area has had the largest share in producing works in this field. The COVID19 studies vocabularies formed four clusters of origin, diagnosis, transmission, prevalence, proliferation, deformation, vaccine, protein and nanoparticle impact. The scientific collaboration networks of COVID19 studies has not been coherent, though so far the largest collaboration has been between China and the United States and between Chinese acad sci and fudan univ universities. Iran ranks 16th among 68 participating countries. Countries in a similar situation are in the same cluster. Mahase E, a journalist in the field of health in the United Kingdom, has the most products with news studies.
